Those rules are going against every law of psychology by obviously not letting them open up so they can do what they were put there to do -- "cure" his homosexuality.
The Bible does not state that homosexuality is a sin, it says that homosexuality should not be acted upon. [I'm not saying I agree with this, I'm just trying to bring it into this whole "CHRISTIAN" lifestyle]
Oh, and just a quote from the [obvious asshole] director of this program:
"I would rather you commit suicide than have you leave Love In Action wanting to return to the gay lifestyle. In a physical death you could still have a spiritual resurrection; whereas, returning to homosexuality you are yielding yourself to a spiritual death from which there is no recovery." --The Final Indoctrination from John Smid, Director, Love In Action (LIA), San Rafael's "ex-gay" clan
...All of that just made me hate Christianity even more.
If I were Zach, I'd go against all those rules just so I'd be thrown out. I would then run away from home, maybe even acting upon the idea that he wants to kill his mother. Who wouldn't want to if they were subjected to that? And they believe that people like Marilyn Manson are the ones who brainwash people into killing others? I say to those people, spend a week in this place and THEN come tell me if you still believe it's Manson.
