It's disgusting.

That had to have been one of the most heart-wrenching things I've ever read (his blog). Who would subject their child to that!? They deserve to have their parental rights taken away. "Love in Action" my ass! Couldn't this kind of thing be considered torture and oppression? I doubt this is legal. First off, it could, in a sense, be considered child abuse. Another thing -- what right do these people have to invade his privacy? He isn't allowed to do anything which basically means they're spying on him. The only thing coming to mind is "Hitler", with the exception that this program is obviously not as brilliant and smart as Hitler was.
Those rules are going against every law of psychology by obviously not letting them open up so they can do what they were put there to do -- "cure" his homosexuality.

The Bible does not state that homosexuality is a sin, it says that homosexuality should not be acted upon. [I'm not saying I agree with this, I'm just trying to bring it into this whole "CHRISTIAN" lifestyle]

Oh, and just a quote from the [obvious asshole] director of this program:

...All of that just made me hate Christianity even more.
If I were Zach, I'd go against all those rules just so I'd be thrown out. I would then run away from home, maybe even acting upon the idea that he wants to kill his mother. Who wouldn't want to if they were subjected to that? And they believe that people like Marilyn Manson are the ones who brainwash people into killing others? I say to those people, spend a week in this place and THEN come tell me if you still believe it's Manson.

I really had a problem with the quote from the director of the program as well. I am Christian (I am also very liberal and think that the bible is just misinterpreted by conservative assholes) and I have always ALWAYS been taught that suicide is a sin that you cannot repent for afterwards and so if you commit it you will go to hell no questions asked but all other sins can be forgiven because there is the chance to repent after they are committed, this includes "indecent" sexual acts. This guy is going completely against traditional Christian teachings by saying that homosexuality is a worse sin than suicide and also there are many passages in the Bible that state that all sins are EQUAL in God's eyes. That being said if he CHOOSES to believe that homosexuality is a sin it is still a sin equal to a lie which is what he told by saying suicide is a lesser sin or the fact that he is commiting a sin by adding in child abuse.
